How to stop others from going through your photos on an iPhone

This is a normal or an almost every day occurrence: you want to show a photo or a video on your iPhone to a friend or a colleague. However, there might be times when you want to show them one particular photo only and don’t want them to swipe through any other images. Because let’s face it almost everyone might just have an embarrassing image or two tucked away in their smartphones

On an Apple iPhone, there’s a way with which you can stop others from swiping through your photos. Although the ‘setup’ process might seem a bit complicated but once you do it, you can just do so by a few clicks. Want to know how? Read on:

1.

Go to the Settings app and head to General

2.

Here you will find the Accessibility option. Tap on it

3.

Once in Accessibility, you will spot Guided Access.

4.

Turn the toggle of Guided Access to ‘ON’.

5.

Once you turn Guided Access on, you’ll see a few more options. Tap on Passcode options and set a Passcode.

6.

Exit the Settings app and head to the Photos app on the iPhone

7.

Now head back to Photos and select any image there

8.

Now triple tap the side/Home button. Here you will see the following Menu

9.

Tap Guided access here and click on the Options

10.

While you can toggle on/off other settings, the key thing here is to switch off Touch.

11.

Once the image is selected, just triple tap side/home button and no one will be able to swipe through your images.

Voila! See how you can use this simple trick to ensure that no one goes through your photo gallery even when you voluntarily hand over your iPhone to show an image.

Do note, however, that once Guided Access is on, the emergency calling feature on the iPhone won’t work. You’ll have to turn off Guided Acces to enable emergency/SOS calling

Christian Pulisic faces more pressure than most of Europe's top five leagues' fresh faces

Image result for pulisicAs Europe's most prestigious clubs fly back to the Old World from preseason tours of all corners of the globe, it's the surest sign yet that the return of club football is just around the corner. As ever, the summer transfer window has seen teams splash stacks of cash, so ESPN FC enlisted Nick Miller to break down some of the new arrivals who are preparing for their debut campaigns in a new league.

Premier League

It's always a fun, if slightly pointless exercise to look for weaknesses in Manchester City's side. At the end of last season, the best you could probably come up with is "Fernandinho's getting on a bit," so naturally City promptly fixed that weakness with probably the best option available. Rodri arrived from Atletico Madrid for a hefty €70 million fee, but if the 23-year-old stays and excels for as long as Fernandinho did, then it will look like a shrewd purchase.
At the other end of the spending scale, Tottenham have very much kept their hands in their pockets for the past 18 months, but went big when they eventually did splash out. In theory Tanguy Ndombele is exactly what Spurs need, combining the best qualities of Mousa Dembele and Moussa Sissoko to give them many more options in central midfield. Not all theories work out, but for a team cautious about their business as Spurs are, Ndombele looks like as close to a guarantee as you can get.
It is slightly baffling that, at the time of writing, Arsenal appear to have little interest in buying a central defender who can help them this season. Still, newcomers further up the pitch look quite exciting, with the apparent imminent arrival of Nicolas Pepe and the signing-on loan of Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid. The latter can play in a couple of different roles in midfield, including No. 10: could he displace the already semi-marginalised Mesut Ozil even more this term?
The good news for Chelsea is that Christian Pulisic is used to dealing with expectation. The U.S. men's national team's leading man from an early age, Pulisic will now need to take that experience from the international stage to the Premier League, not only being the only genuinely new face in the Chelsea squad but now carrying the added pressure of having to replace Eden Hazard. With a rookie manager in Frank Lampard having to deal with limited resources, he really needs everything at his disposal to function properly. There's more emphasis on this signing than most.

Sami Khedira spotted at Emirates Stadium ahead of Arsenal vs Lyon

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira was spotted at the Emirates Stadium ahead of Arsenal's match against Lyon
Sami Khedira was spotted at the Emirates Stadium ahead of Arsenal’s pre-season friendly against Lyon on Sunday, amid speculation the Gunners are readying a move for the Juventus midfielder. The 32-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer of 2014 after he played a key role in Germany’s World Cup winning campaign but remained at Real Madrid for another season before joining Juventus a year later. Khedira’s career has been regularly interrupted by injuries and he managed just 17 appearances in all competitions for Juventus last season. With Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot joining the Italian champions this summer, competition for midfield places is likely to be more intense than ever and Khedira, who did not feature during Juve’s pre-season tour due to injury, is likely to be deemed surplus to requirements by the club’s new manager Maurizio Sarri.

John McAfee: The US Has No Control Over Bitcoin, BTC Price Will Surge in a Week

Image result for bitcoin

It’s safe to say that Bitcoin has had a rough week. In the past seven days, the cryptocurrency lost around $1,000 of its value, marking a decrease of around 10 percent. According to veteran entrepreneur and popular cryptocurrency commentator John McAfee, that is because the US has been putting pressure on Bitcoin. Yet he remains unfazed and maintains that the price will climb back up in a week.

McAfee Reports on Bitcoin Pressure From the U.S.

Just a few days after being released from confinement, John McAfee is back in charge of his Twitter account and is weighing in on Bitcoin.
Bitcoin’s price has been swinging lately with more red than green, and McAfee believes that pressure from the U.S. has been responsible for that.
McAfee is, as always, certain in his belief that the US doesn’t have the power to control cryptocurrencies. He also thinks that Bitcoin’s bull run will resume one week from now.

Is Bitcoin in a Slump?

In 2019 we saw Bitcoin’s price approach $14,000 as the bulls were in control. Since then, however, the cryptocurrency has been sliding down steadily. After a few days of swinging around the important support at $10,000, the price plunged by $700 in about 10 minutes. $9,400 was a major support level which the price has managed to stay above so far.
While a segment of the crypto community supports the idea that Bitcoin’s fall has been strongly related to pressure from the US, McAfee’s prediction for the next week is a glimmer of hope for the bulls.
At the time of this writing, Bitcoin is trading at around $9,500 and possesses a market cap of about $169 billion. It’s also worth noting that Bitcoin’s dominance rate has decreased by about 1 percent, indicating that alts have managed to regain some relative strength.

Game of Thrones: Melisandre told Jon Snow to kill Daenerys Targaryen in resurrection shock

Game of Thrones: Melisandre told Jon Snow to kill Daenerys Targaryen in resurrection shock

GAME OF THRONES saw Jon Snow turn on his aunt - and lover - Daenerys Targaryen in the final season after he knew the devastation she could cause as ruler. However, was he instructed to murder her?

Game of Thrones: Writer says Daenerys was 'broken' by betrayal

Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) was slain by Jon Snow (Kit Harington) after he became fearful about what she could do after seeing her burn down King’s Landing.
Knowing thousands of other innocents could die at her hand, he made the fateful decision to end her life on the HBO series.
He plunged a dagger into her heart as the pair shared a final kiss on Game of Thrones.
However, could it be that Jon was instructed to kill his Queen and that he didn’t do it completely of his own accord?
One fan has theorised that there is evidence in the source material that hints at Daenerys’ inevitable fate
And Melisandre (Carice van Houten) is drawn into the theory as the Red Priestess had a vision of Jon that could suggest she knew he would be the one to finish Daenerys.
Redditor Endcity23 wrote: “Now we know Mel alludes to Jon as a ‘half seen shadow’ and while Dany thinks about her future lover, she sees his face as a ‘shifting shadow’.”
The fan went on to point out a part of the text as they wrote: ”’The flames crackled softly, and in their crackling, Melisandre heard the whispered name Jon Snow. His long face floated before her, limned in tongues of red and orange, appearing and disappearing again, a shadow half-seen behind a fluttering curtain.
"Sometimes Dany would close her eyes and dream of him, but it was never Jorah Mormont she dreamed of; her lover was always younger and more comely, though his face remained a shifting shadow’.”
They go on to note: “In other instances in the books where ‘Shifting shadows’ are used, it always reeks of blood and betrayal. Twice referring to the cold, hard Kings of winter and Once to the Iron throne.”
