Sadio Mane has spent time during his break before the new season visiting the construction site of a school he is building in Senegal.

The forward is yet to join up with the rest of the Liverpool squad due to his involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations.

He reached the final with Senegal but they were beaten by Algeria.
The 27-year-old has been given time off to recuperate before returning to thePremier League club.
While some would be taking a well-deserved break in a lavish setting, Mane returned to his hometown village, Bambali.
The forward has stumped up £250,000 to fund a new school and has already paid for a hospital in the village.
Pictures on social media show him looking around the building site where the school is being built.
A report also claims that Mane, who scored 22 Premier League goals last season, has been handing out money to the locals as well as giving out free football kits to the local kids.
Mane is one of four Liverpool players who have been given an extended break following international involvement.
