Louis Vasquez Injury: Updates on Broncos OG's Groin and Return

According to Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth, the team ruled Vasquez out for the remainder of Sunday's contest.
Smyth also noted that the Broncos lost safety T.J. Ward and defensive tackle Sylvester Williams to ankle injuries, so it has been a rough night in Denver.
Vasquez has been a rock on Denver's offensive line since joining the team in 2013. The 28-year-old has started all 42 games over the past three seasons, becoming one of the leaders on the line after the team lost Orlando Franklin in free agency and Ryan Clady to a season-ending knee injury.
Per the Broncos' depth chart, Max Garcia is the only backup guard on the roster. The rookie from Florida has appeared in nine games this season, but Vasquez's experience and leadership will be impossible to replace.
Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak likes to utilize play-action passing, so protection up front is essential to the success of his offense. Denver has built a talented roster, but the offensive line will be a big concern down the stretch for a team that's relying on untested quarterback Brock Osweiler.
